About STEFAN & LINDSAY KLIEWER

Stefan, Lindsay and the girls left for their 2 year (minimum) commitment with Mercy Ships in February of 2022. Stefan is the Senior Chaplain onboard the Global Mercy, serving the crew of over 450 members from all over the world.  They are currently stationed in Sierra Leone where surgeries will continue until June 2025.

Founded in 1978, Mercy Ships does amazing work to provide free, life changing surgeries, training and medical capacity building in African countries, no strings attached. It changes the lives of many who have limited access to healthcare. Besides making an immediate impact on those who get surgeries and treatment, Mercy Ships also works to equip the host nations with the training, tools and infrastructure necessary in order to offer sustainable development long after the ship departs.
